Washtenaw Community College
COLLEGE ON DEMAND Washtenaw Community College implemented a new "College On Demand" program. This program was started in September 2004 and allows UA members interested in pursuing an Associates Degree in Construction Supervision or Industrial Education (for UA instructors) to take required general education courses or degree specific courses on an independent study basis from the comfort of their homes and at their own pace. Maximum time allowed to complete a course in this format is 30 weeks. Registration for these courses goes directly through Washtenaw Community College and the fee for these classes is approximately $225 per course. Once you have enrolled, all materials needed to complete the course are mailed to your address. You must have a computer with internet access to enroll in any course within the College on Demand format, as tests are taken on-line. Construction Supervision degree specific courses are still offered via the teleconferencing distance learning format for those individuals who desire the more structured environment to attending a scheduled class period. For more detailed information regarding this new program offering or for questions about the UA University College Degree programs, contact Mike Griffith at 1-888-232-5476. |
